Another perfect excuse has presented itself and carsales have jumped at it. First it was covid and now it’s the “Financial pressure from the current economic climate” which is incredibly strange, since there was a revenue of $509.5 million reported last financial year with a growth of 16%. Being a company of this size there isn’t much little independent dealers can do expect pay the bills and continue to be taken advantage of. So please, every time an individual enquires on a car it costs the dealer, as of 1 Oct 2022, $65 plus GST. Even if it’s clearly a school kid trying to be cool in front of their friends or an idiot that low balls and asks for a 50% discount, according to carsales these are still “good quality leads” and that’s the end of it!
