This is a very special car. Low kilometres, beautifully preserved, original books and presented in a combination that is becoming harder and harder to find. Cars like this simply aren’t being made anymore, and the good ones are already finding their way into the hands of Holden enthusiasts who understand what they are looking at.

The VF was the final chapter of Australian-built V8 performance, and Holden absolutely got it right. It was the perfect combination of Australian muscle and modern refinement. It's a proper V8 sedan that you could drive every day, but one that still had the character and attitude we all loved about Holden.

Under the bonnet is the legendary 6.0L Gen IV V8, paired with a 6-speed sports automatic and finished off with a sports exhaust that gives it that deep, unmistakable V8 note. It sounds exactly the way a Holden V8 should.

The sports suspension and limited-slip differential make sure it drives as good as it looks, giving the car a tight, planted feel when you want to enjoy it. This was never just a car built to sit in a garage. It was built to be driven.

The original SSV Redline gloss-black alloy wheels finish the exterior perfectly. Tough, purposeful and unmistakably VF, they give the car exactly the stance you'd expect from Holden's flagship performance sedan.

Finished in factory dealer-ordered Heron White with the highly desirable black leather interior, two-way electric glass sunroof and silver-painted Brembo brakes, this is one of those VF combinations that just works.

It's classy without being boring and aggressive without being over the top. Add the premium tint and the car has an incredible presence on the road. It gets noticed, but it doesn't need to try too hard.

Inside, it's everything you expect from an SSV Redline. Black leather sports seats, electric lumbar support, push-button start, carbon-look interior accents, electric sunroof and the head-up display all come together to make it a genuinely special place to be.

Most importantly, the condition of the interior reflects the care this car has received throughout its life. It hasn't been modified, abused or turned into something it wasn't meant to be. It has been preserved as a VF SSV Redline should be.

And that's what makes this car so appealing.

The VF was the end of an era. The last of the Australian-built V8 sedans. The last time Holden put this much engineering, character and Australian muscle into a car like this.
