Our next meet will be on Saturday the 7th of March.

I’ve decided that it might be best to skip one after last event’s mishaps. Basing off the last 2/3 years running this page/events. I’ve always done a carmeet every second month, every second weekend. That is indeed still going ahead but will kick off in March this year.

Last event was a massive turnout but that also included some activities that sapol took care of. Cars where impounded and fines where handed out to individuals that put others lives at risk. All I ask from everyone is that you show up and be responsible. Come show your cars off and have fun but no one wants to hear your V6 limiter or even your Dads Mercedes limiter bashing through the carpark

Time to address last night’s incidents.
3 separate burnouts/crashes.
I’m sure you’ve seen them and it won’t be hard to find them either.
This is a prime example why we can’t have carmeets or do anything with cars in Adelaide anymore. People sook and complain about cops going on a blitz or defecting your car. Envious was made for a good time and an opportunity to show off your pride and joy. Where family’s and friends can feel safe while be surrounded with what they love. They shouldn’t have to be worrying about some spastic doing a skid or trying to show off. Someone is going to get injured and or worse. I’m sure no one wants any of that. Is it really worth the 10 seconds of adrenaline doing a skid on the main roads or even in car parks. Time and place for everything and leaving a carmeet isn’t the right time. Simply do better for yourself and the people around you. The people that stand on the side of the road and encourage people to skid are just as bad. Have some common sense and stop egging people on to do something they will regret, this is why carmeets and anything to do with cars gets shut down so quick. Save your s**t skids for your own time.
