Brian Tooley Racing canted valve head master port almost complete.

Developed with Race MAX Direct for high horsepower boosted small-bore applications, including intake, exhaust and chamber development , almost ready for CNC digitising.

All that’s left is final seat profile and chamber soften tweak and it’s good to go. Will post some more photos of final flow data and some more info on heads once heads are 100% complete.

Can’t wait to see what these heads do on some serious boosted combinations.

Harrison’s SR20 800+hp drift package.
This started as a freshen up and turned into a pretty wild build staying DET bottom end and a VE (shimless) top end.

Bottom end:
* girdle
* main studs
* drag pro I beam rods
* Custom pistons 9.7:1 comp with .250” H13 tool steel pins
* Standard crank prepped
* high capacity gated sump
* crank trigger kit
* VE oil pump with billet gears
* balancer machined 5mm to suit VE oil pump drive collar

Top end:

* 184-ST 290/290 cams
* adjustable cam gears
* KVS10-BT springs with titanium retainers
* shimless oversized stainless valves (1mm over intake, 2mm over exhaust)
* Athena cut ring head gasket
* 625+ head studs
* cam home sync
* ve conversion
* Billet screw in timing chain oiler
* Race recoed with pocket porting and set up for shimless valves

Running a intake and exhaust manifold with a custom turbo.

Great results by RKGarage Performance & Electrical and owner Sam Doney. These heads are starting to show there potential. Factory rectangle port GM castings, tongued and high ported to suit 3.900 bore. This top end combo also has a very stable custom cam profile wich will easily go 7800rpm.

Alex’s custom turbo manifolds for his VP V6 Turbo Buick we specced the cam and top end bits for. (Heads were done very nicely by another reputable shop)

These headers are our own Compact Stepped Log design and differ to a conventional type of log manifold.
Standard style logs are essentially a pipe, that all cylinders crash into one volume wich results in high back pressure and hurt top end power.

These stepped logs are designed this way so the area increases as flow builds, keeping velocity up, and feeding the turbo cleaner and harder resulting in faster spool, lower backpressure, and more power where a normal log falls over.

Now plenty of people have made ALOT of power with just conventional logs or flipped standard manifolds and there is no disputing that what so ever. This style of log though falls somewere in between a factory style log and a proper tuned length race header.

Jordan smashed this out to the exact sizing and shape we wanted.

The KYRI RACE HEADS mascot has been off the road for almost 6 months. After almost a whole year of constant abuse and over 8300rpm with almost 9000kms travel time the mighty LS1 finally cracked the block. Stay tuned for the new setup. And NO it’s not boosted and YES it’s still carby 💪🏼
