This Husqvarna trimmer would not run properly and was bogging down when the throttle was pressed. Normally a carburetor cleaning will solve this issue but in this case even after cleaning the carburator the problem persisted. It appeared to be not getting enough fuel. After checking several of the common culprits I discovered a tiny hole in the fuel supply line that was causing the carb to suck in air with the fuel. This created a lean mix causing the problem. The fuel line was replaced and enginedntuned properly resulting a smooth running engine.

This trimmer came in for service plus the recoil was damaged. It is a 4 cycle trimmer. Upon inspection we found that the owner was using 2 cycle oil and the fuel was badly contaminated. The parts for the recoil are not available locally so I had to order them in. The owner agreed to the quote on the parts and service and we should have them this week.

The trimmer came in and the owner claims it had not run in a long time. Over a year. Upon examination we found that it was overdue for a service and was in very poor cosmetic and functional condition. I assed the unit and found that apart from needing servicing the coil for the engine needed replacement. I quoted the repairs and the owner gave the go ahead for the repairs. Should be up and running in two weeks when the parts arrive.

The owner brought this lawn mower in and it had not been run for quite some time. Requested it to be serviced. Upon checking it was discovered that it had been run with a very dirty filter or no filter and had sat in the weather for some time. There was corrosion around the flywheel causing it to come in contact with the ignition coil. Cleaned up the corrosion around the flywheel and adjusted the coil spacing. The carburetor was filthy as seen by the contents of the bowl. There was also water accumulation in the bowl and evidence of corrosion in the carburator. Ultrasound and manually cleaned the carb and air filter housing. Replaced the clogged filter. The pull starter rope was bad and needed to be replaced. Changed the oil after starting and heating up the engine. The lawnmower now starts with one pull from cold. The owner is very happy.
