City routes need more than a small van. Long‑haul also needs less than a heavy truck. For everything in between, there was a gap. The MAN eTGM is designed for exactly that space: a 16‑tonne, all‑electric truck with a range of up to 480 km*, making its premiere this week at Transpotec-Logitec in Milan.
It arrives at a moment when ambitious emissions targets, rising toll costs and increasing urban noise restrictions are pushing fleets to act. The eTGM addresses the segment where these pressures are most immediate.
With the eTGM, MAN now offers a consistent electric truck portfolio from 12 to 50 tonnes, based on the same modular technology across all series. Power comes from the eCD210 electric drive, delivering 210 kW and 800 Nm of torque. A modular battery system with two to four packs lets operators configure the truck precisely for their routes, avoiding unnecessary weight and cost. With a gross weight of 16.01 tonnes and up to 10.6 tonnes of chassis payload, the eTGM is built for demanding urban and regional transport.
For fleet managers in food logistics, municipal services, construction or regional distribution, the question was never whether to go electric, but whether the right truck existed. Now it does.
