The opening Rounds of IAME UAE sees Sava Kogay take the WIN in Junior on Sunday! 🏆

Another action packed weekend for the team, bringing home pace, progress and podium positions👀⬇️

Mini

Robert Oganyan made huge progress throughout the weekend, after nearly grasping a top 10, a disappointing Lap 1 incident in Round 2 brought an early end to his hopes of an U10 podium, but the pace and development throughout the event was second to none📈

Junior

Jasvir Bhatia showed plenty of fight in the large Junior field. After a determined Round 1, he started the Round 2’s final from the back of the field, making up places and setting his fastest lap of the weekend in the process🙌

Giovanni Dezzani was hampered by electrical issues during Round 1, but came back strong in Round 2, qualifying just two tenths away from P6. Unfortunately some tough starts in the races left him finishing further down the order than his pace suggested🤝

Sava Kogay ran consistently in the top 3 all weekend, Round 1 forced him to start from the back due to an engine seizure, but he fought his way through the field to P5.

Saving his best for Sundays racing, Sava made a last-lap move to take the victory in Round 2🏆

Senior

Mardin Soleymani showed strong speed throughout practice, but a difficult run in qualifying, left him with plenty of work to do in the races, as he did just that and fought through a strong grid👊

Kazuki Araki faced a DQ on Day 1, but bounced back with strong progress throughout the weekend. With the pace continuing to improve, and offering some impressive overtakes across the two rounds👌

Gabry Baricordi was among the top three drivers throughout the weekend. After a crash in round 1 denied him the result that his pace deserved, but he made amends in Round 2 with an impressive move around the outside in the closing laps to secure P3! 🥉

Max Endacott was unfortunately unable to show his true pace, with electrical issues affecting his running throughout the event, but we know this is just the beginning🤝

Overall, a strong run for each of our drivers.
And a big thank you to every member of our team who contributes to these busy weekends!

And it was straight to DAMC R1 for GGM ⬇️

MINI

Liam made a strong return to racing following his injury, qualifying P2 and maintaining a consistent pace throughout the day before securing P3 in the final🥉

Veikko continued to make progress, gaining pace all day through some technical difficulties at the start, really coming on strong by the end of the racing🙌

Jackson made his first appearance on the Novice plates, putting in an impressive performance coming out of the day 1st Novice 🥇

Adam continued to progress throughout the day, marking his first race weekend with the team👊

JUNIOR

Here we saw the team qualify 3rd, 4th and 5th, putting themselves in a good position for the day of racing ahead

Aaron delivered a consistent performance throughout, bringing it home P4 in the final🏁

Yehansa and Sava showed strong pace all day. Tough racing in the heats meant both had to fight their way through from the back for the final, where they battled back to finish towards the top end of the field on track🤝

Bianca continued to improve throughout her first weekend with the team, gaining valuable experience with every session🙌

SENIOR

Jayden qualified P4 in Senior and delivered a consistent performance throughout the day, bringing the final home P4 on the road.

A strong opening round for the team, with plenty of progress and positives heading into a busy few weeks of racing🔜

First race back brings WINS & Silverware for GGM🏆

Mini — Robert Oganyan
Robert showed steady progress throughout the weekend, continuing to build pace and gain valuable experience in the Mini class📈

Junior S125 — Sava Kogay
Sava delivered a standout performance, securing pole position, before going on to win the pre-final. Starting the final from 2nd, Sava held his position to finish 2nd, securing a well-earned podium🥈

Senior S125 — Max Endacott, Gabry Baricordi & Mardin Soleymani
A strong showing in Senior, locking out the front row in qualifying with Gabry & Max. The pair continued to run at the sharp end in the pre-final, finishing 3rd and 5th.

Gabry rounded out the weekend with a podium finish in 🥉 and Max an on track 5th for his first weekend in the class👊

Unfortunately Mardin had a retirement in the final after working hard all weekend, but there is plenty more to come🙌

Senior 170 — Kazuki Araki
Kazuki put together a strong performance, delivered when it mattered and took victory in Senior 170. 🏆

A great way to kick things off again here in the UAE, but the weekend isnt over➡️
