Job Opening

Estimator Position Opening in one of the leading Auto Body Builder in the Middle East, engaged in building Ambulances and very diverse designs of vehicles to meet with a diaspora of clients in the region.

Job Description: The Estimator is expected but not limited to have the following main duties and responsibilities

- To understand customer requirements and able to derive the list of deliverables to the design team

- Work out a list of material to build the required product to meet customer requirements, and estimate the costs of material, services, consumables

- Assess to a very accurate level, the exact material, services and time schedule to meet the customer specifications

- Work closely and continuously with procurement team to ensure material availability

- Assess risks involved in a project and able to help Sales team in ‘go-no go’ decision process

- Identify niche areas to develop newer technology/processes to continuously improve the cost-benefits of the project

- Continuously endeavor to identify new material to ease/improve production processes

- Keep track of material cost movements in the market to ensure low cost variations and risks

Minimum requirements:

- At least 4 years of experience in working in MS Office, costing and estimation in Auto industry

- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Coral Draw or similar software packages would be added advantage

- Able to work in a team environment will be an absolute necessary

- Able to work under stringent and demanding time schedule
