World Youth Skills Day brings focus to one of the most important transitions in any career: the move from education into meaningful participation in the workplace.

At AWR Group, creating meaningful career pathways means giving students the opportunity to apply knowledge in real business environments, build practical experience, and develop the confidence to take their next step into the world of work.

Through our internship and apprenticeship programmes, 17 students from Ajman University gained hands-on experience across AWR Group, including four apprentices who secured their placements through the AWR Group Hackathon - turning innovation into opportunity.

We were proud to join Ajman University at its recent recognition ceremony, celebrating the students whose curiosity, ambition, and commitment have shaped this journey.

AWR Group and JOOD, Dubai Community Contributions Establishment, have formalised a strategic partnership that brings together public-sector leadership and private-sector capability to support a more coordinated approach to community contribution across Dubai, aligned with the Dubai Social Agenda 33, We the UAE 2031, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Marwan Rashed BinHashim, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Community Contributions Establishment (JOOD), and Huda Al Rostamani, Executive Board Member and Director of AW Rostamani Group, in the presence of Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai and Chairperson of Dubai Community Contributions Establishment (JOOD), and Dr. Amina Al Rostamani, Executive Board Member, Director and Chief Operating Officer of AW Rostamani Group.

Creating safer roads starts with understanding the behaviours that put them at risk.

AWR Automotive has partnered Dubai Police and Nissan Middle East to launch the Drive with Awareness campaign, a community-focused initiative designed to strengthen road safety awareness and encourage responsible driving behaviours across the UAE.

The campaign highlights some of the most common causes of traffic incidents, including distracted driving, speeding, unsafe lane changes, and insufficient following distances, while engaging the community through educational content and an interactive road safety competition.

As part of the initiative, participants will have the opportunity to enter a draw to win one of two Nissan KICKS vehicles while testing and strengthening their road safety knowledge.
