Still can’t figure out why these three haven’t been picked for Pakistan in any format. All three have been performing consistently and deserve serious consideration.
1) ALI RAZA, a 145-150 KPH bowler, has been playing top-level cricket for the last 3 years. He played in the 2024 and 2026 U19 WCs, 2 seasons of the PSL, and most importantly, he has already played 7 FC matches and taken 33 wickets, including 2 five-wicket hauls and 1 TEN-wicket haul.
2) HUNAIN SHAH has been a revelation this year. He has been bowling beautifully everywhere. He has enough pace, swing, and control to trouble batsmen. Most importantly, he is absolutely beast in the death overs with his toe crushing yorkers. He has already played 14 FC matches and 51 T20s. He deserved to play the T20Is.
3) AKIF JAVED has to be the unluckiest cricketer in recent times. Bro has been taking wickets everywhere and in every format. He is a highly experienced player, having played 32 FC matches, 40 List A one-day matches, and 109 T20s. His pace is top Notch too. 145-150 KPH 🔥
Akif Javed has played 3 ODIs for Pakistan, picked up 7 wickets at high pace, and never played again.
If this is the kind of injustice that keeps happening, many talented players like HASSAN KHAN will go to other countries and play there.
