An ASC SUV might not look so different from a standard vehicle, but it most definitely is. Consider two thousand production-cycle steps; twelve hundred man-hours; multiple component changes and the installation of up to 2000 kg of armor. Pulling the top performance out of an armored vehicle when entering or exiting a hazardous zone, whether on or off road, can require a little getting used to. ASC
provides professional vehicle familiarization courses on request, as well as offensive/defensive driver tuition. We work together with experienced Instructors from Aurix and have support from the police of Dubai, we also use "EASY DRIFT" for some exercises. Our cars are well prepaired and the location on an active Police-base in Dubai for our Driver Training is perfect for our courses. Our participants learn how to adjust the car for their size, how to check their armored vehicle for bombs or technical malfunctions. We show them how to recover a broken car, driving on sand, driving with flat tyres, getting injured persons out of the vehicle, etc. One exercise is, how to get out of a car, which had a roll-over. For this, we builded a simulator in which we can teach how to this quick and save, also how to rescue a person with a black out. We also offer a special "life saver course" which takes one day of the whole course, where the participants learn how to help a serious injured person they find or which ar sitting in his car. Every second counds and a well trained driver can save the life of himself and others. As of spring 2016, ASC will be offering a "Hostile Environment Awarness Training" (HEAT).
