What can happen if you ignore your tyre pressure?

Ignoring the warning and driving with low-pressure tires causes them to flex more. It generates excess heat that overheats the tire components and causes them to wear and tear. The tyres further experience excess friction, enhancing the tear and reducing their longevity.

Born in Pretoria in 1990, Carlos has had a passion for swimming since an early age and was called a dolphin by many. He attended H.T.S. John Vorster and his technical subject of all things mechanical and motor, lead him down his career path. Starting out in his family’s panel beating business, he has since gained more confirmation that his passion for anything motor related is well founded. He has completed courses in Automotive Logics (dealing with motor electronics in depth), and Safety in the workplace (OHS compliance).

He has been practically involved in the motor repair industry for 15 years and joined QA on 1 June 2022. He is customer centric, extremely good with all people and has a “can do” attitude and approach to life. We consider ourselves fortunate to have Carlos on board with his broad skillset, exposure, and expertise. We have no doubt he will bring his varied experience and singular style to our already great team.

In his spare time Carlos enjoys gardening, socialising, gaming or working on motor vehicles (of course).
