We are a small car group that was formed in 2017 — some of us were longtime friends, while others met through the creation of a WhatsApp group. Over the years, many friendships have grown stronger through our shared love for cars and the community we’ve built together.

While we’ve enjoyed countless night runs and breakfast drives in the past, this time, we wanted to do something different — something that gives back.

We chose to support St Laurence’s Children’s Haven, a home that currently cares for just under 25 children in need.

Many of the children at the home have come from incredibly difficult and heartbreaking circumstances — situations no child should ever have to face. Despite these challenges, the team at St Laurence’s is doing an extraordinary job in creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment for them to heal and grow.

The home was in need of non-perishable food items, and our group members stepped up to contribute.

We’re especially grateful to Super Spar Blackheath, who generously hosted a collection point for us. Their support, along with the kindness of all the shoppers who donated, made a huge difference.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to Investing For Innovation, who helped arrange access to the home so we could spend the afternoon with the children. That time together meant so much to us and allowed us to connect with the kids in a truly special way.

We also want to sincerely thank our friends and family who contributed to the collection — your support means everything and played a vital role in making this drive successful.

Thank you to every single person who helped. Your generosity has made a real impact.

Together, we’ve shown what a community can achieve when it comes together for a good cause.
