Die afgelope tyd was daar toenemende gesprekke, kommer en emosies rondom immigrasie, grensbeheer, misdaad en die beplande optogte wat landswyd aandag geniet.
As gemeenskappe moet ons erken dat Suid-Afrika ernstige uitdagings in die gesig staar. Burgers het 'n regmatige verwagting dat immigrasiewette toegepas, grense beveilig en misdaad daadwerklik bekamp moet word. Dit is die verantwoordelikheid van die staat en sy wetstoepassingsagentskappe.
Terselfdertyd moet ons duidelik stel dat geen vorm van geweld, intimidasie, xenofobie of aanhitsing tot haat aanvaarbaar is nie. Die optrede van enkelinge mag nooit gebruik word om hele groepe mense te veroordeel nie.
Ons doen 'n beroep op alle deelnemers aan enige optog of betoging om die wet te respekteer, vreedsaam op te tree en die regte van ander te eerbiedig. Die Grondwet beskerm die reg op vreedsame protes, maar dit beskerm nie geweld, dreigemente of die vernietiging van eiendom nie.
Ons verwag van die SAPD, SANW en alle veiligheidsdienste om hul plig sonder vrees of guns uit te voer, openbare orde te handhaaf en die veiligheid van alle inwoners van Suid-Afrika te beskerm.
Ons land het oplossings nodig, nie verdeeldheid nie. Ons het wetstoepassing nodig, nie wetteloosheid nie. Ons het verantwoordelike leierskap nodig, nie emosionele opruiing nie.
Laat ons daarom saamwerk vir 'n veiliger, sterker en meer regverdige Suid-Afrika waar die oppergesag van die reg gehandhaaf word en waar elke mens se waardigheid gerespekteer word.
Suid-Afrika se probleme sal nie deur haat opgelos word nie, maar deur geregtigheid, verantwoordbaarheid en die konsekwente toepassing van die wet...💚💚💚

In recent times, there has been increasing discussion, concern, and emotion surrounding immigration, border control, crime, and the planned marches that have attracted nationwide attention.
As communities, we must acknowledge that South Africa faces serious challenges. Citizens have a legitimate expectation that immigration laws will be enforced, borders secured, and crime effectively combated. This is the responsibility of the state and its law enforcement agencies.
At the same time, we must state clearly that no form of violence, intimidation, xenophobia, or incitement to hatred is acceptable. The actions of individuals should never be used to condemn entire groups of people.
We call on all participants in any march or demonstration to respect the law, act peacefully, and uphold the rights of others. The Constitution protects the right to peaceful protest, but it does not protect violence, threats, or the destruction of property.
We expect the South African Police Service (SAPS), the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), and all security services to carry out their duties without fear or favour, maintain public order, and protect the safety of all people living in South Africa.
Our country needs solutions, not division. We need law enforcement, not lawlessness. We need responsible leadership, not emotional incitement.
Let us therefore work together for a safer, stronger, and more just South Africa, where the rule of law is upheld and the dignity of every person is respected.
South Africa's problems will not be solved through hatred, but through justice, accountability, and the consistent application of the law. 💚💚💚
