Ashlay Sauren took our Areo disc prototypes to just over 325Kph/ 201 +mph at the recent sanctioned Wesselsbron top speed event.

We are going to change a few things here and there before mass production commences but the wheel covers will be for BST rear wheels Star Tek, Rapid Tek and Mamba Tek.

Well done to Ashlay and the 300 PLUS team for achieving the 325.4Kph GPS speed with a 115kg rider.

Sampie Erasmus has made history. 🇿🇦🏁
On 15 August 2026, Sampie recorded an incredible 319 km/h during a sanctioned speed trial in Wesselsbron, Free State setting an unofficial new benchmark as the fastest recorded paraplegic motorcycle rider in the world.

The previous benchmark of 290 km/h had stood for a decade. Sampie surpassed it by an astonishing 29 km/h, breaking through the 300 km/h barrier aboard a highly modified Suzuki GSX-R1000R.

BST is incredibly proud to have been part of this historic achievement, with BST Rapid Tek carbon fibre wheels fitted to the record-breaking machine.
This run is about far more than speed. It is about determination, engineering, innovation and proving that limitations are meant to be challenged.
319 km/h. No limits. History made.

BST Wheel Covers are officially entering the trial production phase, and we're one step closer to launch.
Final testing and evaluations are now underway to ensure they meet the standards you'd expect from BST. If all goes according to plan, we'll be ready to start producing these bad boys sooner rather than later.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to launch.
Final production version may vary slightly from the images shown.
