August 2026 - Woman Month Industry Role Players
Andrea Bogner is the Founder and Managing Director of Drive LP AutoGas (Pty) Ltd, South Africa's only 5-Star RMI-accredited workshop dedicated to LPG AutoGas conversions and alternative fuel solutions. Andrea is pioneering the transition towards cleaner, more affordable mobility by making alternative fuels more accessible to motorists and fleets across the country.
As a respected industry leader, Andrea recently served as a panellist at the LPGSA AutoGas Workshop, where she participated in discussions with government representatives, industry leaders and key stakeholders on the future of LPG AutoGas in South Africa.
Her work continues to influence the development of sustainable transport solutions and industry standards.
Beyond her business, Andrea is deeply committed to developing the South African motor industry through her leadership roles. She serves as Chairlady of the RMI GreenDrive Initiative, Chairlady of the National RMI Training Committee, Regional Chairlady of MIWA Central Region and its Training Committee, and serves on the MIBCO Board and MERSETA structures, where she contributes to skills development, transformation and the future of the automotive sector.
Having taken over and built a successful business in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Andrea has become a respected voice for innovation, technical excellence and leadership.
She is passionate about mentoring others, promoting artisan development, advancing environmental sustainability and creating opportunities for the next generation of automotive professionals.
Andrea embodies the spirit of this year's Women's Month theme, "Building Resilient Economies for All,"
