What is happening Internationally, where certain motorcycle clubs are banned from wearing their patches in public, reminds us why unity within our biking fraternity is so important.

In the Western Cape, MAWC has played an important role in maintaining structure, discipline and respect, as per the decisions at the G2G (which consists of MAWC Affiliated members and Non-Affiliated members, helping to keep criminal gang influences out of our biking fraternity.

However, MAWC is only the council. The real power lies with the fraternity and the motorcycle clubs that make the decisions. The MAWC and G2G represents the clubs, not the other way around.

Our patches represent brotherhood, loyalty, respect and tradition, not criminality.

It is our unity as a fraternity that protects our colours, our freedom and our way of life.

MAWC is the council. The fraternity is the voice. Together, we protect our brotherhood.
