🔥 RACEWEEK!

Finally, the wait is almost over! We're heading back to what we love most: ENDURANCE RACING!

Round 5 of the Backdraft Racing Series takes us to Red Star Raceway on 16–17 October for FOUR HOURS of V8 endurance racing!

🔄 A new challenge! This time we're racing ANTI-CLOCKWISE!

But there's no shortage of track time in our series. With plenty of practice on Friday, our competitors will have NO EXCUSES when it's time to go flat out on Saturday!

💥 A fiercely competitive field, several drivers making their Backdraft Cobra debut, and plenty of familiar faces ready to fight for the top step.

The youngest female! 🏎️

A warm welcome to Mimi Le Roux, the latest addition to our Redstar grid!

At just 20 years old, Mimi is set to become the youngest female driver ever to compete in a Backdraft Cobra in South Africa!

And she's jumping straight into the deep end! 💪

Mimi will share the car with Terry Wilford and Wayne Spicer in the 4-hour endurance race at Redstar Raceway on 17 October.

We're keen to see how she stacks up against her vastly experienced teammates. (Not that we're suggesting Terry and Wayne are old... LOL! 😂)

We're sure Mimi will feel right at home in the Backdraft family!

This weekend, Terry races in the Dunlop V8 Supercars at Red Star Raceway. Next weekend? Same track, another V8, but this time in our Backdraft Cobra!

He follows in the footsteps of fellow V8 Supercar competitors Franco di Matteo and Julian Familiaris.

Make no mistake: our Team Principal, Brian Martin, has earned his stripes behind the wheel. When he talks racing, he knows what he’s talking about.

Brian spent most of his racing career in Toyotas. Could that explain why our Backdraft Cobras have Lexus V8 engines? 🤔
