Roaming Wrench The business "Roaming Wrench" was founded by Cody Arnett, an ASE Certified technician raised in the Eastern Nebraska area. Why choose us over the big-name guys?

Roaming Wrench LLC is an automotive repair facility local to the Omaha metro that offers 'traditional' drop-off style repair services, but also offers Mobile Repair Services, meaning we can come to you for most repairs! The concept of the business is, if need be, we will come to you, wherever that is, to perform inspections, and most repairs - saving TOW fees. Well, really, that's easy.. You get t

he same (and in many cases better) service that you would get with the big-name shops. But, with us, you will never pay the big-name price. PLUS if it's necessary, we will do the repairs where it's most convenient for you! Now, how can you beat that? Industry-leading labor discounts for veterans, military, and first responders (including nurses and other hospital workers).

well ladies and gentlemen.. this is a very bittersweet moment for me.

so be the first post I've made in a while.. and there's a very good chance you'll be the last post I make for a really long time.. I think further posts will come from a hobby channel, but we'll see how that pans out.

as I write this message, I'm sitting in the parking lot having dropped off the keys to the shop that I have owned and operated for the last 8 years.. some of you may know that I was in the process of working out a purchase on the property, the very long story short version of it is we were unable to make that sale happen... and I'm not going to lie. the department of revenue had no small part to play in that because they refused to allow me to operate the business under a existing tax law that would have allowed me to continue to not charge my customers parts markup.

that'll be the only thing I say on that topic though. I'm not going to sit here and get all sour about how things have turned out because I do strongly believe that everything happens for a reason.

for the last 8 years I've had the opportunity to help so many people to have quality auto repair at a very fair price... actually as some of my competitors and friends would tell you at too cheap of a price... it's very difficult for me to really illustrate with words how grateful I am for having the opportunity to serve all of the people that I have.

I sincerely enjoyed the process of helping people to get repairs without having to strain their entire life over it.

I'm going to miss this shop and I'm going to miss the regular customers that I have had the pleasure of working with for the past 8 years... some of you have been with me since the very beginning... and some of you have been with me for just a short time... I am equally grateful for all of you.

I did not operate this business to become rich and I absolutely succeeded in being able to pay the bills and enjoy my career.

don't be surprised if you start seeing car related videos on this page or on our YouTube channel.. I'm going to have to do something, but for now I'm going to say I'll see you around.

Sincerely, Cody And Jocelyn

A Message from the Veteran Owners of Roaming Wrench

First, we want to emphasize that however you spend Memorial Day is entirely up to you and is perfectly okay. We wish to share our thoughts on this day.

Memorial Day honors military members who didn't return from combat, while Veterans Day pays tribute to all veterans. Many veterans, familiar with the losses of war, appreciate the distinction between these holidays.

Given the somber nature of Memorial Day, hearing "Happy Memorial Day" can feel odd. While the day doesn't need to be solemn, it’s about remembering and honoring the fallen. For us, that means spending time with loved ones, enjoying activities like grilling, going to the range, or fishing, and reflecting on those who didn’t make it back.

When greeting someone on Memorial Day, we prefer to say, "Have a safe Memorial Day," acknowledging that it can be challenging for some.

Lastly, if you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of self-harm, please reach out. The hotline 988 is available for calls or texts, and 911 is always an option. You can also reach out to friends, family, or even us at Roaming Wrench. We're here to help, even if it's just to listen. These feelings are real and should be addressed.

Until further notice, Roaming Wrench LLC will be operating by appointment only. We are grateful beyond words of all the patronage and support we have experienced over the years - and we are not closed. We are restructuring our process to better suit our original purpose as a business: providing impeccable repair services at a fair price.

Due to us being short-staffed because of medical issues we will not be doing any mobile appointments for a while. Any mobile appointment already scheduled will be handled as soon as we can. We appreciate your understanding. We also hope everyone has a happy and healthy winter season.
