Some calls we receive are for generator relocations to bring an existing installation up to code.

This generator was located too close to an intake vent, so it needed to be relocated. As a general requirement, the generator’s exhaust must be a minimum of **5 feet away from any intake vent, window, or door**.

Proper generator placement is important for both safety and compliance.
