We were very sad to report that the Darlington dream wasn’t going to become a reality, however after several meetings over recent weeks we are pleased to let you all know that ourselves, Graeme and Tracey Robson along with our good friends Russell and Emma Andrew have completed a deal with Steve and Jackie Rees to buy Startrax.

We have produced a list of 25 dates, at which the Robson and Andrew family will promote the Brisca formula between Odsal Stadium, Bradford and Owlerton Stadium, Sheffield.

We will be hosting Brisca F1, Brisca F2, National Saloons, National Ministox, V8’s, unlimited bangers and many other great formulas.

We hope that as many of you as possible will support us and spread the good word. We look forward to seeing you, your family and friends at a meeting soon!

Sorry it’s so long since we posted! A lot has happened in 18 months!!

Unfortunately our dream at Darlington has not materialised, however some of you may already know that we have channelled our efforts into helping Startrax in the newly opened Odsal Stadium. Saturday 11th September sees the first running of a Brisca F1 World Final for over 24 years at this stadium.

The action last Saturday came thick & fast on a good racing surface and we would urge as many of you as possible to come along and support us and make this a memorable event.

We would like to wish every driver who has qualified for this race the very best of luck and may the best woman or man win 🏁

The past 6 month have been trying for us to say the least. Through no fault of our own, we have been caught up in a very complicated matter with the management team we were working with on the new track. It’s a matter which we cannot go into detail in on here and only now, due to the seriousness of situation, do we feel we can shed a little light on our current situation.

Not to be deterred, we have pressed on looking for an interim site or even an alternative. We have approached several people and are currently looking at a couple of sites.

Brisca Stockcar racing still has a decent following. I think we will all agree the hay days are behind us, and many threats face all motorsport in the future .....however, we are not deterred and will continue with our mission.

So...bear with us. What will be will be, but one thing is for certain....if we do fail it won’t be due to not trying. Stockcar racing is magic so let’s prove it!

Another day another meeting with the Council. They gave us some very positive feed back and some items to look into. Time to move on to the next stage - let’s get this planning process passed!! 🤞🤞🤞
