Here are some pictures of the vacuum tank I re-installed and the ignition.

The distributor is cast iron which is supposedly a rare variety. Unfortunately, the advance weights and springs are worn, so the timing is off, especially at higher revs. Finding replacement parts is very hard, so I hope anyone can give me some tips in refurbishing it.

Somehow the vacuum in the tank stops the fuel from running into the carburator, so the engine stalls after a couple of minutes. Maybe the new gasket is blocking the small vent pipe on top.

Lots to do; I won't get bored during the weekend :)
