Schaeffer's Transport has put the first Dutch-style DAF XG into service. I had already posted photos last week as well. In the Australian truck scene, Peterbilt trucks are primarily styled, and little attention is given to the styling of European brands. Schaeffer's changed that. Following the example of Dutch Style, he added a new DAF XG to his fleet and had it styled according to the Dutch model.

* : The heart of the Australian 𝗗𝗔𝗙 𝗫𝗚/𝗫𝗚+ 𝟲𝟲𝟬 𝗙𝗧𝗧 is the Paccar PX15 engine. This is a modified and "PACCAR-ised" 15 litre Cummins X15 diesel engine. The PX-15 was developed by PACCAR, DAF and Cummins but will be sourced from Columbus, Indiana.
The PX-15 is 225 kg lighter and more economical than the X-15. Engineered for the DAF XG and XG+ in Australia, the PACCAR PX-15 is an automotive masterwork. The new generation engine platform features a sculpted, ladder frame style block, significantly increasing the performance levels possible from a 15-litre engine.
