We’re thrilled to share photos of the first Vulcan to roll out following our re-launch.

We feel this one has come together beautifully, and we are eager to see the completed build - let’s just say the gentleman we’ve built this for has exquisite taste.

Expect a lot of shiny silver bits.

Here is our first Bob Jackson Phoenix Gravel Bike to roll out to a customer.

A further development from the original prototype we shared last spring. We’ve built a beautiful steel disc fork using Reynolds 853 blades. With the frame we’ve tried to maintain a classic Bob Jackson silhouette, whilst equipping with the latest gravel equipment.

1x12 GRX, 700x50 tubeless tyres, thru axles and flat mount hydraulic disc brakes. The brief for the build was classy and understated, and it’s come out amazing.

We’ve been really excited to bring this one together!

came to us with an idea for a comfy fast road bike which evolved into a comfy fast “all road” bike inspired by Randonneur bikes of old.

Built with 853, a 60mm rake fork, direct mount racers and clearances for ~40mm gravel tyres. This will sail along over any surface.

The brake posts were hand filed and shaped, which took a fair bit of work - we think it’s turned out great and look forward to seeing the build.

It’s been a busy summer down at the shop but we’ve got a few projects coming through now from the frame shop.

This beautiful End-End has just been collected to begin its life in the Lake District, with a huge tour planned for next year from Central Asia back.

Built to be a comfortable, reliable and fast tourer. The customer was moving from a triple and with the tour planned we knew that a low climbing gear would be important.

We used a mixture of Shimano drive train components and a Velo Orange chainset to give a 30-40 (20 gear inch) low gear while maintaining a classic aesthetic.

Hope hubs, Nitto finishing kit, a tubus rack and trusty marathon tyres complete the bike.
