Yesterday's Neunelfer Manila 2026 event was our best one yet. Our goal for this year was to make it more intimate and private. Thanks to the strict invite-only system, we were able to achieve just that. Solemn would be the best word to describe the experience. It was a joy to see everyone enjoy each other's company and reconnect with old friends.

For this year’s curated section, I stepped away from my usual one-special-911-per-generation approach and instead brought together some of the finest Philippine 911s—across all generations. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Putting this together was both a joy and an honor, and it stands as my proudest work yet. I’m deeply grateful to my friends for their trust and support in allowing me to showcase their cars.

The venue, Southlinks Estate, transported us into our own little Porsche universe. It felt like a dream! With no visual disruptions in the background, the sun and clear blue skies cooperated to pull the attention purely towards the cars. Southlinks also pampered us with delicious food and coffee by Flatsix Cafe and transformed their sales pavilion into a beautiful and comfortable events place.

To the Neunelfer Manila team, , .ph, .delara, .sundae911, , , and , this is a big win for all of us! Thank you for the great teamwork. Cheers! 🥂

We would like to thank everyone who came through and supported our event. Your presence meant the world to us! Now, we go back into hibernation.

Justice for the fried egg! 🍳 I’ve been chasing this local 996.2 Porsche 911 GT3 Clubsport for years—and in a serendipitous twist, I finally crossed paths with its current owner. Finding a 996.2 GT3 in the Philippines is already a rarity; one equipped with the Clubsport package is even more special.

After sitting out for a few years due to the pandemic and life’s inevitable detours, the car is finally alive and running strong again. Ready to rack up kilometers as the owner is determined to drive it as intended.

The 996 generation 911—once hated for its polarizing front end, is now aging gracefully. Admit it, you now want this too. The 996.2 GT3 was the first 911 GT product under the helm of Porsche god, Andreas Preuninger. Its Hans Mezger-engineered 3.6-liter naturally aspirated flat-six produces 380hp and sports titanium connecting rods and lightweight pistons. This engine produces are more raspy exhaust note, which is reminiscent of sports cars of old. It's also immune to the IMS bearing woes of the non GT models.

The Clubsport pack adorns the GT3 with a full roll cage, fire-resistant racing bucket seats, six-point harnesses, a fire extinguisher, and a kill switch under the bonnet.

Bought brand new from PGA Cars in 2004, the original owner enjoyed it for around 4,000km until he sold it to a new owner in 2006, who added a mere 2,000km. In 2014, the original owner's son, whom the car resides with today, bought it back. It now has 13,000km and counting. Having said that, this GT3 is in immaculate condition, and I'm overjoyed to see this being driven once again.

This 1994 Porsche 964 911 RS America is a love letter to driving enthusiasts. Beneath its understated exterior lies one of the most tastefully built 911s in the Philippines. The owner has meticulously lightened the car with Kevlar exterior panels, including the fenders and doors, while the bonnet and rear decklid have been replaced with carbon fiber. Even the windows have been swapped out for lightweight Perspex. A roll cage was fitted, and the seats were replaced by RECARO Pole Positions.

A new heart was transplanted with a naturally-aspirated air-cooled 993 Carrera VarioRam flat-six that's been bored out to 4 liters and built by former RUF engineer, Christian Treiber, in Garage 2233. Complemented by a carbon fiber intake plenum, custom headers, and the center exit muffler from a 997 GT3, this engine produces around 370 wheel horsepower and sings to 8,000rpm. The front brakes were also upgraded to bigger and more powerful 911 Turbo "Big Reds." The modifications come together so cohesively that the car exudes both the sure-footedness of a modern car, and the rawness of a classic sports car.

The history of the 964 RS America is a highlight in itself. Only 701 units were produced to quench America's thirst for the then European exclusive Carrera RS. To achieve this, Porsche took regular Carrera 2s and lightened them by 80 pounds, and fitted them with the M030 Sport Suspension package. Staying true to the RS badge, the interior door handles were replaced with straps, and the badging around the car are stickers. Fred Schwab, Porsche America's head honcho at the time, said that “If you like to autocross, this is your car. If you are a time-trialer, you need this car. If driving is for fun, this is your car…”

Part 2: Finally, new tint. Swipe to see the finished look! As mentioned in my previous post, Homebase Garage offered to gift me new tints for my Miata (). As a testament to their dedication to quality, they fitted my car with Prime XR Plus 70, which delivers 68% light allowance and 99% UV rejection while maintaining the almost invisible appearance of clear glass.

A quick backstory: I had been wanting to replace my car’s base-model 3M tint for years, having grown tired of both the heat and the overly dark shade. With the roof down, the darkness felt even more exaggerated—almost as if I were wearing sunglasses all the time, whether I wanted to or not. The new XPEL tint resolves all that, and as a bonus, it makes the car look cleaner.

The installation was done carefully and skillfully under the gorgeously diffused lights of the workshop. It was as if my car was in a studio preparing for a tint commercial! After the install, it was pampered with a bath.

I truly enjoyed my time here. To be clear, even without the sponsorship, this is a place I would genuinely appreciate. Homebase feels exactly that—a place where I feel completely at home.

Part 1: As a design enthusiast, my collaboration with Homebase Garage is a match made in Heaven. Ever since they opened this year, I've been captivated by their aesthetic. Banawe, Quezon City is usually not associated with design, so Homebase's modern minimalist architecture gloriously stands out. For those unfamiliar, Homebase is an automotive workshop partnered with . Its main goal is to fuse the commercialism and car enthusiasm of Banawe with style, passion, and lifestyle.

The interior of Homebase is a visual treat. With an atmosphere reminiscent of the distinctive sets from Marvel's Loki TV series, its thoughtfully executed mid-century aesthetic reflects the owners' refined taste and comprehensive understanding of design. The various textures and colors of the wood, chrome, cloth, and metal all cohesively combine to create a sophisticated, yet homey feel. The owners designed it to be an extension of their home. A space where people can bond and escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, hence the name Homebase.

When they reached out to me to collaborate and offer to gift my Miata () with new tint, I was ecstatic—not just for the tint, but because I could finally experience Homebase in depth. The owner has been a fan of Patina Macchina for quite sometime, and we both agree that our passions for design align perfectly. It was truly an honor to be chosen for this.

As a car enthusiast, the workshop embodies everything I would hope for in a future home garage—crisp, diffused lighting that highlights the cars’ body lines, paired with a bright, well-ventilated atmosphere. It was a joy to watch my car being worked on while sipping a refreshing cup of Hometown Cafe's horchata. I've never encountered a workshop as nice as this here in the Philippines.

The tint work deserves its own feature, which I’ll be highlighting in the next post. Stay tuned!

Cars, art, and architecture—like fine wine and aged cheese, some pairings are simply timeless. This feature brings all three together.

A stunning 1968 Porsche 911L sits proudly poolside in its architectural home designed by Fitnesscape Creative Studio, accompanied by its sculptural counterpart by Jinggoy Buensuceso. Look closely and you’ll spot a thoughtful detail: a chrome accent on the sculpture, echoing the brightwork of the 911 itself. Thank God for people with good taste!

The Porsche 911L was a one-year-only model for 1968, created to temporarily fill in for the top of the range 911S while it worked through U.S. emissions requirements. Built on the short-wheelbase (SWB) platform, the L was the more luxuriously appointed variant, sharing the 130-hp naturally aspirated, air-cooled 2.0-liter flat-six with the standard 911. Just 1,169 coupes were produced.

Patina Macchina's first feature for 2026 is this immaculate local Philippine unit 1981 B-series Opel Manta Berlinetta 2.0S. For the unfamiliar, the Manta was Opel's premier sports coupe that graced the showroom floors with two generations until it ended production in 1988.

The Berlinetta model was the plushest of the lineup; with blue velour upholstery, wood and chrome trims, and a MOMO sports steering wheel. Under the hood, the carbureted naturally-aspirated four-cylinder 2.0S engine has been modified with twin-Webers and an uprated camshaft. Combine those with a body that weighs less than 1,100kg, this sports coupe is competent enough to be both a comfortable GT and performance car.

To enhance the look, the owner also sourced and fitted ATS Classic wheels. An OEM sports bumper, Engelmann blue side mirrors, rear spoiler, and a pair of Hella Comet foglamps give this Manta the quintessential 80s aesthetic.

I've always wanted to photograph a classic car in a container yard. I was finally able to do so when and I dropped the cars off for shipping back to Metro Manila after 2025. An early (F-body) Porsche 911 is truly the end goal for me. Tour de Cebu was proof that I'm really compatible with vintage cars.
