Today, our crew gathered at sea to pay their respects to those lost and still missing following the MV Matui tragedy.

For seafarers in Vanuatu, the maritime community is a family. When lives are lost at sea, the loss is felt across the entire community.

This morning, flowers were laid upon the ocean as a simple gesture of remembrance, respect and solidarity.

Our thoughts are with the families, friends and fellow seafarers affected by this tragedy.

May those lost at sea rest in peace. 🌺⚓

LCM's LOADING ROUTINE:
Each week from Monday to Friday, we accept cargos and housing materials for the three LCMs. Loading cuts off on Friday afternoon to allow the crews time to load their vessels and prepare for departure. LCM8616 departs on Sunday at 1 PM. LCM8543 and LCM8600 depart on Monday at 9 AM.

LCM8616 serves Malekula, including Akam, Farun, Okai, Bonvor, Malvakal, Melip, Toman, Carolyn Bay, Lembenwen, Wintua, Lorlow, and Lawa. LCM8543 also serves Malekula, covering Lamap, Banan Bay, Aulua, Tisman, Unua, Wala, Atchin, and Vao. LCM8600 serves Epi (Tomali, Votlo, Sara, Rovoliu, Bongovio, Brisbane, Yelavli, Malvasi, Rovobay, Walavea, and Laman Bay), Paama (Vutekai, Vaoleli, Tahi, Liro), and Southeast Ambrym (Moru).

Cargos or Materials received after Cut off will be kept for next departure .

Pierre Brunet Shipping Vessel LCU2012 has left BP wharf this morning for its trip up north .First stop this evening at Tongoa . Next departure on Monday 14th Sept-3pm . Loading this week and next week for Tongoa , Ambrym , Pentecost, Maewo , Ambae & Santo .
