After many ins and outs—kinda like the drive-thru window at your favorite burger joint—we finally got the LS sitting where it belongs.
We “massaged” the engine bay (…with some aggressive hammer therapy), laid down fresh paint, mounted the clutch kit to the LS, and locked it in with the T56 Tremec.

Of course, the universe demanded a plot twist: the shifter was a full 5 inches off from clearing the tunnel. Since we’re going for an OEM-clean look, we went with the shifter relocation kit—and it put us right on the money. 👌

Next up: get the transmission mounted, build the driveshaft, and then… the electrical gauntlet begins. ⚡️🔧

Update on the RX-8 LS swap:
We actually dropped the engine in today… and it fits.
Not “kinda fits,” not “slam it in and pray” fits — I mean room to spare 😳🔥

Mazda gave us a Dorito-sized hole and somehow an LS walked in like, “Yeah I live here now.”
Now we pull it back out, get the T56 mounted up, and work in the transmission tunnel to get that mounted up.

This thing is officially becoming a menace. Stay tuned. 😈💪

Ever wonder if an LS can fit where Mazda originally stuffed a Dorito?
Yeah… me neither. But me and my cousin are doing it anyway 😂

The RX-8 is officially getting a personality swap: bye-bye brap brap, hello BRRRAAAPPP.
Hammers, wiring, and at least one “why did we do this?” coming right up.

Customer came in with a stuck clutch pedal on their 2018 Volkswagen GTI… Sounds simple, right? Not this time! The slave cylinder failed—and it’s tucked inside the transmission bellhousing! 😳

Since we were already in there, the customer went all in with a brand-new clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder for a fresh start. 💪

Absolutely beautiful 91 Morgan in for a little exhaust adjustments.
Customer stated the new one was hanging too low and scraping. Nothing a little fab work on some brackets and a little tucking can't fix!
