Essential Duties
• Communicate effectively with service advisor to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment to determine accurate diagnosis of vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Execute specified repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with industry standards
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and, if needed, customers
• Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
Experience
• 5 years as an automotive mechanic
• Must have some level of instructor led automotive training (e.g. high school automotive, vocational, college, technical school, OEM, etc.)
Qualifications
• Have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Possess own tools (tool allowance available)
• Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Must have a working knowledge of shop equipment

Compensation
• Signing bonus (potential)
• Hourly biweekly pay. Compensation ranging from $20 - $30 per hour based on experience and knowledge. Our technicians/mechanics are paid top dollar. NO FLAT RATE
• 40-hours/ 5-day work week - Never work another weekend again!
