TeamSS would like to send our deepest heartfelt condolences and strongest prayers to the family and friends of Officer Andrew Duarte and the entire West York Borough Police Department.
Officer Duarte was killed today in the line of duty while protecting others during a mass shooting incident at UPMC York Memorial Hospital around 12PM EST.
We ask our weather family to join us and pray for strength and comfort for the family of Officer Duarte. We also ask everyone to pray for healing for our community.
TeamSS is dedicated to serving our community. We typically cover weather, however in times like these we will always put our local community FIRST.
