Camper Priorities

It’s been a busy season for water heater and furnace repairs. When is the last time yours was serviced? Doing an annual inspection can save you from being without heat or hot water when you need it most.

New Grand Design Solitude 5th Wheel. It was delivered to my customer at the campground this past week. To his surprise water began to drip out of a ceiling light in the bedroom. I moved my schedule around to get there ASAP. When I got up on the roof I found that no sealant was used other than some foam gaskets 🤯. Grand Design stated to me over the phone that this new gasket system doesn’t need sealant. I asked if all the screws were stainless or galvanized. The answer was no 🤯. Please don’t let anyone sell you a camper with no sealant covering screws and seams. One of the fancy gaskets was letting water poor in through his roof. I temporarily sealed the leak and will be returning in the coming weeks to properly seal his entire roof.
