Lift your windshield wipers before the freeze hits.

Why?
When wipers freeze to the windshield, turning them on can tear the rubber, burn out the wiper motor, or crack the glass. Lifting them keeps them from freezing solid and saves you a headache (and a repair bill) later.

Friendly reminder to make sure you have antifreeze, NOT water, as coolant in your car. If not, you will end up replacing your radiator (or worse)when it freezes and cracks.

Quick pre-storm checklist:
✔️ Tire tread & pressure
✔️ Battery strength
✔️ Windshield wipers & washer fluid
✔️ Fuel level
✔️ Coolant level — and make sure it’s ANTIFREEZE, not water
(Water can freeze and crack your engine. Don’t risk it.)
