It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that the Stockton Volunteer Fire Company announces the passing of our past chief Donald Payne. Donald Payne served as our Chief between 1969 and 1974. Please keep the Payne family in your thoughts and prayers, as they are now mourning the loss of Chief 250 Neil Payne and now Donald Payne as well.

RNQ would like to extend our thoughts and condolences to the Stockton Vol. Fire Company on the loss of their Chief, Neil Payne.

The Members of the Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Payne family, and the Stockton Volunteer Fire Department.

Chief Neil Payne was a good friend, son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He served the Worcester County Fire and EMS service the majority of his life. And did so with honor and professionalism.

Chief Payne, Godspeed. Rest in peace. We got it from here.

I have seen this posted multiple times, and while we don’t serve food, the same is true in our industry.

Parts are harder to come by, sometimes they are on back order with no ETA. Fluids and filter prices have risen astronomically. It’s just craziness.

Please know that if your invoices are higher than normal, we are NOT trying to ”get one over” on you, but as a small business we cannot afford to eat the cost. I have to go through pricing for EVERY filter charged, for EVERY invoice because the prices keep changing. Once things settle (hopefully sooner than later) costs WILL go back down.

As with every industry out there, PLEASE bear with us through these times! We appreciate your business very much and will do our best to work with you on any issues!

Thank you to the gentleman (a fellow retired FF from PG County) that pulled our friend out of her truck. You just saved the momma of two little boys. We will forever be grateful and wish we knew your name!

Does your unit need new mirrors? Or maybe just some "not so obvious" ones?!

No, you do NOT need a whole new cab! Check out this transformation on Engine 604 hailing from Greensboro VFD!

The unit had the original mirrors removed and had new power mirrors installed on the doors along with some new wiring!
