The last time the Southeast Gassers Association visited Farmington Dragway was in 2022, when the historic eighth-mile strip in Mocksville, North Carolina, delivered everything SEGA fans have come to expect packed stands, loud four speeds and wheels-up action. Farmington’s close-up, grassroots atmosphere made it a natural fit for the nostalgic Gassers, with cars like Cynthia Phillips’ “Flower Power” ’56 Chevy (piloted by Alexis Phillips), looking right at home on the starting line.

Four years later, Farmington has seen noticeable improvements while holding onto the character that makes “The Farm” special. The facility has received upgrades to spectator areas, seating and viewing locations around the starting line and track. Now, SEGA is heading next weekend August 21st. and 22nd. 2026, bringing its brand of straight-axle, clutch-popping, gear-banging nostalgia racing back to a track that has been part of North Carolina drag racing history for generations.
