Valley Towing was dispatched to Interstate 81 by the Virginia State Police for a disabled tractor-trailer. Upon arrival, our team found a fully loaded cattle trailer that had blown a steer tire and jackknifed into the median. Shenandoah Towing’s recovery team was quickly called to assist.

After recovering the tractor-trailer and replacing the necessary tires, we were able to get the unit safely back on the road so the driver could continue delivering their load of cattle.

A big shout-out to VSP, Webber Traffic Control, and the Shenandoah Towing recovery team for their assistance.

Here’s one of our operators, Cory Kuser, picking up one of three donated vehicles at Warren County Fire and Rescue. We regularly donate cars to surrounding fire, rescue, and police departments to support their training and help them stay proficient in their operations, ensuring the safety of our communities. A big thank-you to all our local fire, rescue, and police personnel for everything you do to keep us safe.

The Valley Towing recovery team was out this morning on Interstate 81 near the 268-mile marker southbound, recovering a full-size truck that had gone approximately 50 feet down an embankment after taking out about 30 feet of guardrail. Supervisor Chris Pangle Jr. led the operation. Excellent work by everyone involved, and a big thank-you to the Virginia State Police, the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office, and Webber for providing traffic control and keeping the scene safe.

Company called and said they had a driver who had a load shift while driving. Upon surveying the situation we determined bringing the load to our lot was the safest option. A Little bit of heavy lifting and some finesse and a few tetris moves we got the load straightened up and then repaired a tail light issue on the trailer.

One rainy night a livestock trailer decided it needed to take a little nap. Thankfully the trailer was empty and none was injured. Our trained operators was able to recover this with no additional damage to the truck or the trailer. No matter the situation, weather, or time of day or night we have you covered.
