IT'S ON! AGAIN with a brake package raffle! Troy won the last package, not expecting to win, and he already has our brake package on his Gen1 Raptor, so he graciously said "raffle it again"! So that's what's happenin!

NEXT up on the raffle list? A Freedom Motorsports performance brake package! The package that built the reputation for R1 products in general in the Raptor community. This package includes R1 Concepts Inc. - Performance Brake Parts Geomet rotors for all four corners (winners choice of style/pattern, slotted, drilled & slotted or OEM blank style), new Posi Quiet ceramic brake pads front and rear, AND a set of custom made to order stainless braided brake lines! Custom made for Freedom Motorsports and donated by Crown Performance ! (replacement calipers available as an optional purchase). The retail MSRP of this package is $1,225.88!!!

Chris started a fund raising campaign in an attempt to raise funds to help keep funding his efforts to deliver goods to those that need them, dig out those that are stuck, fix washed out culverts and driveways, fill sink holes, clear brush and downed logs, but generally anything the local community may need. While goods may go just about anywhere, most of the work to date is happening in and around Elk Park, NC. and will continue there for the most part, helping the local community recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Helene. Chris has spent four days a week for the past three weeks and has committed to doing so indefinitely for as long as funding holds out, with only a weekend off out of every other month for important family time.

This is how the raffles will work:

1. Freedom will post an item to be raffled off. Every $5 donation to the GiveSendGo will equal one entry into the raffle. Give $5, get 1 entry, give $100 get 20 entries. ONLY CURRENT DONATIONS DURING EACH RAFFLE WILL COUNT TOWARD THE CURRENT RAFFLE.

2. Each raffle will last from Tuesday to the next Monday while Chris is gone to work in Elk Park, NC.

3. The winner will be chosen randomly using Random.org to keep everything fair and equally random no matter what.

Bristol Motor Speedway disaster relief operation. Just a month ago, this entire warehouse was sitting empty and idle. In that time, we have carried seven loads of supplies to different locations all around the Burnsville/Lenoir, Newland, Elk Park areas of NC.

There is still so much supplies flowing in and out of this warehouse, it boggles the mind. From kerosene and propane heaters, soap and toiletries, winter clothing, generators, food, grills, charcoal, childrens toys, propane, tools, camping supplies, even pallet upon pallet of sparkling grape juice!!! Every time I come here, Bryan, Bridgett and everyone welcome us in, make sure we get everything on our lists of needs for the given locations and treat us like family.

From the speedway staff, to the volunteers, to the National Guard troops here providing man power and logistic support, their operation here is constantly being fine tuned to be more efficient and it has been a humbling experience, every time I see it.

Over the past three weeks of helping the recovery effprts in Western NC and Eastern TN, I've been able to make adjustments to ehat gear I take to make sure I'm efficiently self sufficient while there.

The list of gear carried in the bed includes a tent, "sea bag" with three military surplus sleeping bags (in case someone else needs one as well), four thick army surplus blankets, Camp Chef propane stove, 17" charcoal grill, portable toilet, 2300w generator, Big Buddy heater with 17lb propane tank, two tool bags with everything I need to service or repair the Raptor, small battery jump box, cooler in the bed for food like meats for grilling, balogna, cheese, condaments and otherwise, spare axle shafts and other spare parts, several first aid kits, bag of extra ratchet straps, cordless drills, impact, sawzaw and Stihl chain saw, spare fluids, grease, spark plugs, wires, WD40, hose clamps, Snapon scanner, tire plug kits, jumper cables, secondary battery in the bed, dual Viair 400c compressors for onboard air (and of course, 7 trumpet air horn), onboard extra gas can, and more.

With an ICOM 2730a dual band mobile radio, several Boefang handhelds, Starlink Roam Mini, another cooler for drinks inside the cab. While I have other things on my list that I want to add as I am able, thus far, this setup is proving to be everything I need.

CONGRATULATIONS Eric Schofield! You won the custom brake line kit drawing! There were a total of 60 entries/$300 raised! The donations will mean we are able to provide that much more help those the folks of Elk Park, NC. We're heading back this weekend! The new product drawing will be announced tomorrow. TIME FOR A RAFFLE!

FINALLY posting about our efforts to help those recoverying from Hurricane Helene in Western NC. The owner, Chris has spent four days a week for the past couple of weeks, deliverying supplies, clearing debris and fixing driveways, helping in any way we can. Working closely with folks like The Off-Road Revolution and others, we have accomplished helping quite a few folks, one family at a time. Enjoy the highlights below, but funding for fuel and supplies is running short. Our plan is to go back for four days, every week, indefinitely, or until we no longer have the gas money to make it. So Chris started a fund raising campaign on GiveSendGo in an attempt to raise funds to help us keep helping people.

This first raffle item will be a set of custom stainless braided brake lines to fit a Ford Raptor of any year. The kits we will raffle off separately (there will be four kits raffled separately, so if you don't win the first kit, there will be more). Our kits include all six lines, front caliper, rear center and rear caliper, in the winner's choice of length and color.
