If you go to Cars and Coffee Morrisville, Inc this Saturday you may notice less of a THSCC presence at our usual spot. This is because many of us will be at the North Carolina Center for Automotive Research, NCCAR Inc. attending the first of two Beast of the East weekends with NCR SCCA. This is a cross club, multi weekend competition to see who has the fastest members, so come drive fast and help your club win!

Although NCR is hosting, this will also count as THSCC's 2026 Autocross Points events #4 and #5. There is still time to sign up if you haven't already! Even if you're not competing it's a fun place to hang out and see a bunch of cool cars parked in paddock as well as driving on the track.

There will still be THSCC members attending cars and coffee in our usual area, at the usual time on Saturday morning. So if you are attending and want to park together, try to be there by 6:30AM as usual in order to guarantee yourself a spot!

Remember, we are autocrossing THIS WEEKEND at NCCAR! The "Beast of the East" series is back, with THSCC Points Events 4&5 this weekend, June 6-7, at a favorite site!

The sign up is through our event partner, NCR-SCCA's motorsportreg sign up - and we will be importing the results for THSCC members to our season points afterword. (reminder - you need to run 6 of 10 events this season for a trophy

NCR-SCCA will be joining us for Round 2 of Beast of the East at our September NCCAR event.

These will also be the first two of a series of four events making up the 2026 Beast of the East series. The next two will be THSCC's events #7 and #8 at NCCAR the weekend of September 26-27.

Tarheel Sports Car Club and are getting ready for our first arrive-and-drive 2-hour Enduro of the year on May 30th! Team and individual entries are both on offer, with 6 teams already signed up and individuals to be grouped up the week leading up to the event. We'll be kicking off the morning with 30 minutes of practice, followed by a 15 minute qualifying session, and then a rolling start to the enduro! Podium trophies are on offer for all team members (max of 3 per team). VIR's Karts run ungoverned Honda GX 270cc motors capable of speeds in excess of 50 mph, some of the quickest in the region!

Must be 12 years of age or older and at least 61 inches tall. Must be a member of THSCC.
