When the team got into it, they pulled the motor completely apart — cam chains, cam set, pistons and rings, valve set, roller rocker arms, oil pump and plate kit, all gaskets and seals, and a full dyno tune with heat cycles to wrap it up right.

The team found all four upper control arm bushings split apart, a failed tail lamp assembly, weak trunk supports, and a dead radio unit — all replaced and covered.

Don M. brought his 2020 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited into Superstition Harley-Davidson in Apache Junction after the check engine light came on and engine noise started showing up. When the team tore into it, they found a valve stuck open and hitting the piston, heat damage and missing material on the camshaft, and metal contamination throughout the oil. The short block came completely apart — flywheels rebuilt, cases split and resealed, all bearings replaced, new cylinders and pistons, full camshaft kit, and a fresh O2 sensor to finish it off right.

Carl M. brought his 2019 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Ultra into Harley-Davidson of Dothan after noticing a ticking noise at idle — and when the tech pulled it apart, the damage was worse than expected.

Both pistons and cylinders were scored, the front head gasket was distorted, the intake valves were leaking oil, and the flywheel rods were binding on the crank. The whole bottom end needed to go — cylinders, pistons, heads, flywheel, and rods all replaced.

Total paid claim: $5,831.31!
