TIA provides tried and true methods for safe, effective tire service and repair. Based on my own personal observations and experience, even the companies that are members of the Rubber Manufacturers Association, such as Goodyear and Firestone retail locations, do not follow the procedures they as manufacturers have recommended to the Rubber Manufacturers Association.
What does this mean?
If Goodyear and Firestone are any indicator, this means that tens of thousands of tires are improperly repaired every year across the U.S. and consumers don’t even know it.
This also means that companies that performed the improper repairs expose themselves to higher than necessary risks by allowing improper repairs to be completed and shuttled out the door.
For one location companies, litigation can bankrupt them and put them out of business .
