⚠️ Windshield Replacement Done? Make Sure Your ADAS Systems Can Still See the Road. 👀

We recently had a customer come to Sensi Auto Technologies after a windshield replacement performed elsewhere resulted in safety system issues.

Upon inspection, we found that the camera assembly cover had been glued directly to the windshield, and pieces of protective plastic were left behind, blocking the front camera’s view. While the windshield itself had been replaced, the camera could not properly see through the glass, impacting the vehicle’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Modern vehicles rely on this front-facing camera for critical safety features such as:
✔️ Automatic Emergency Braking
✔️ Forward Collision Warning
✔️ Lane Keep Assist
✔️ Adaptive Cruise Control
✔️ Traffic Sign Recognition

Even something as simple as leftover plastic, improper installation of camera components, or poor-quality glass can interfere with camera performance and lead to warning lights, system malfunctions, or reduced safety feature effectiveness.

At Sensi Auto Technologies, we not only perform ADAS calibrations, but we also inspect camera and sensor installations to ensure everything is properly mounted, unobstructed, and operating as intended.

A windshield replacement isn’t complete until the vehicle’s safety systems are verified and calibrated.

Luxury should feel… well, luxurious.

This Mercedes-Benz came in with malfunctioning massage seats — not exactly the experience you expect from dynamic multi-contour seating.

After a full inspection, we found broken air lines in the module that control the seat’s pressure system. To get everything back to factory performance, we carefully removed the leather interior and replaced all pressurized air lines throughout the seat and floor.

This one has truly been a labor of love for our tech, Scott — taking the time to get every detail just right.

Now? Back to delivering that smooth, customized comfort Mercedes is known for.
