Wrought Thoughts Handcrafted ornamental steel products for homes and gardens. Wrought Thoughts was initially established in 2000, and ceased in 2002.

Wrought Thoughts is a woman company, owned by Christine Gordon with great support from family and friends. With greater resources and support for small businesses in Michigan I have re-establish Wrought Thoughts. Wrought Thoughts creates handmade ornamental steel garden art and home items. Items include garden decorations such as fence sections, benches and trellises. Wrought Thoughts also has pla

nt hangers, plant stands, wine racks, candle holders, interior and exterior wall hangings. Wrought Thoughts has built and installed custom ordered items such as hand railings, window boxes, window grills, arbors and birdhouse stands. Products are created individually, by hand, in my garage. The major shop equipment include a welder, air compressor, a hand operated planetary ring roller, and a hand operated floor mount bender that has a twister and a scroll attachment. Some small components of my products are finials and metal stampings, such as butterflies, birds or leaves purchased and incorporate into the pieces. Due to limited shop space I currently use a local companies for sand blasting and/or powder coating.

I do have quite a few plant hangers, some undecorated for $14, some round stock with the "characters" some do not have leaves, I will sell for $16 each I can ship these, I shipped one to California last year for 10 bucks I am sure I can get more than one in a box. I also have 3 deck stands that holds four 4" pots I call them herb gardens, and fence sections for trellises or back ground decorations, and some wall art for either inside or out. Due to my cancer diagnoses I will be shutting down the website to Wrought Thoughts within the next month. I will be offering in Stock products at discount or best offer pricing. I will post a list of items on Facebook when I can get to the storage unit. I do have plant hangers, a few small wine racks, candle holders, wall hangings, along with wedding center pieces that I made for our daughters wedding. I would like to make these available to past customers and family before I approach the greenhouses I was working with. If your interested please let me know. Thank you, Christine.

Happy Spring everyone!! We have begun to schedule our shows for the season and we are getting off to a great start! We will be at Brighton Farmers Market again this year for Brighton Flower day May 16th. We will not be attending Eastern Market Flower Day this year but we may add some Sunday markets in June, we hope to see you!

Wrought Thoughts will be taking a break until the spring due to a medical situation. We still have products in stock and they are available for sale, you can see the pictures on the website, I will get the rest up as soon as I can. We would like to thank all our customers and supporters that we have had over the last 9 months it has been exciting! I am looking forward to next spring already!
