⚡ Troubleshooting Thursday: Your RV Has No Power—What Should You Check?
Before assuming there is a major electrical failure, start with a few basic checks:
Confirm the campground pedestal breaker is switched on.
Check that the power cord is completely connected.
Look at your RV’s main breaker and individual circuit breakers.
Check for a tripped GFCI outlet, especially near the kitchen or bathroom.
Confirm whether the entire RV has lost power or only one appliance or outlet.
Note any unusual smells, heat, buzzing sounds or repeatedly tripped breakers.
⚠️ Do not continue resetting a breaker that repeatedly trips. A recurring trip may signal an electrical problem that needs to be diagnosed.
