Some nights he doesnāt sleep at all ā the phone never stops ringing.
Accidents at midnight, engines dying in the cold, families crying on the shoulder of the highway.
And he goes. Every single time.
Heās seen the road at its worst ā shattered glass, twisted steel, storms that turn minutes into danger.
Heās stood in the rain with shaking hands, towing a car while his own dinner grew cold miles away.
Heās missed holidays, promised to be home āsoon,ā but the call always comes again.
People donāt know the weight he carries.
