Sigh. We had an unfortunate interaction with community members today. While on the way to a delivery we stopped for gas ⛽️ as we often do. We lined up and approached the pump in a crowded parking lot, when suddenly a passenger car 🚗 swooped in to try to bully us from the pump. As you can see in the attached 📸 photo, we are clearly parallel with the pump while they are at a 45 degree angle after gunning it to block the pump, nearly striking our front bumper.
Instead of trying to have an adult conversation, the driver demanded we move. We were 21+ feet long pulling a trailer and backing would have not only been dangerous, it would have been reckless. We communicated as much and the driver shrugged 🤷🏾♂️. After some time, they left and went to Google to leave a 1 ⭐️ review on the business page.
We realize life is busy and everyone is important. And we pride ourselves on being kind, respectful, empathetic, and communicative. However, we don’t take kindly to bullies and expect to be respected in return.
This is the first negative rating we have ever received. The others demonstrate who we are and how we operate. Unfortunately, this isn’t someone who has done business with us. Instead, it is an attempt to disparage us when we told them, “no.” We certainly would have preferred this to have gone differently, but we also realize that not everyone has a desire to be reasonable and communicative.
