Can you guess the car and the year, and can you spot what the AI got wrong? 👀🚗

At first glance, this beautiful light-blue Chevrolet looks like something you might have seen sitting in a neighbor’s driveway back in the 1950s.

The rounded bodywork, acres of chrome, whitewall tires, simple two-tone styling and that unmistakable Chevrolet grille all capture the look of classic American motoring perfectly.

But there’s something you need to know…

This isn’t a real photograph. It was created by AI.

And that makes this one a little more interesting. 😏

AI can now create remarkably convincing images of cars from decades ago, right down to the paint, reflections, chrome and period-correct surroundings.

But it still has trouble with the details that real car people notice.

So here’s your challenge:

🔹 What Chevrolet is this supposed to be?
🔹 What year do you think it is?
🔹 And can you spot what the AI got wrong?

Look closely at the grille, trim, badges, headlights, body lines, rear details and proportions.

Something doesn't quite add up.

If you know your old Chevys, you might spot it almost immediately. If not, take your time and study both pictures before making your guess.

And for those of you who remember the 1950s and '60s, this is where your memory really gets put to the test.

Back then, cars didn't all look alike. You could often tell the make from halfway down the street — sometimes just by the shape of the grille, the taillights or the way the body was styled.
