There has been a lot of misinformation online about  manufactured homes. Whether it be Instagram showing container homes from other countries, misrepresentation of pricing, the list goes on and on.
I am here to tell you the facts.
With the affordable housing crisis, the state of Rhode Island and Massachusetts by state law must now allow a manufactured home to be put on a piece of land. That being said, the town has special rules that must be followed. In most cases towns will require what they’re calling a permanent foundation so instead of a slab foundation that a manufactured home usually goes on, now a crawlspace as a minimum may be necessary. One of the lines of homes that I represent can do just that! They can take a Manufactured home and change the framing to be conducive to be set onto a foundation. Below is a project of such that we’ve been working on.
