New season is here . Back at the lake testing boats . Had enough of cold weather . Every one is calling for their boats . Loads of new customers . Some parts a little hard to get . Joe and I have been working as hard as we can to keep up . All I can say is thanks to everyone for there patience .

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. These are pics of what we did today before having dinner. These pics are of the second one. The first one was in Rumney slid down a hill and split a telephone pole. These pics are in Warren on 25C. We had to chain the truck up to get up over the top of the hill and back down . My granddaughter took the pics while my son helped with the recovery. It seems like many Thanksgivings they would come up for dinner and we go out for a recovery. Both of theses accidents everyone walked away and that's what really matters.

I guess first I should thank all of our customers for the years we were blessed to serve them. I remember when I started this business. I told my wife maybe a few boats and a few cars would be here. Who knew this would happen back then. To all my long time customer who send everyone they know to me THANK YOU!!!!!! I really don't advertise it's all word of mouth. I can't believe where this business has gone and it's because of my customers . The pictures show what you have all done for my wife and I. A special thanks to my wife for always having my back, even when I am grouchy. Lets not forget Joe, who is always there to figure out how we are going to get it all done. Funny part is we usually do. So yes we are busy ,but we always make room for new customers. Thank you all again , Walt

Finally we get back to boating !!! This week Joe and I went to the lake testing some boats . We have done some modifications to my motor to see if we can break 70 mph . In a rush to get there I forgot the phone with the gps speed app . I did not matter we were back on the water and had a great time.

So to make a complete boat cover I have to work on my shop floor with the pattern Back and forth to the basement to stitch it together . When you see the odd shape, you wonder how that will ever fit . When I put it on the boat and it fits it still amazes me. I have been making covers for years on bow riders . This is my first bass boat cover. I still have a few thing to do to it to finish it up for delivery .

Butter knife to a tank fight. And we WON !! So we get called by a trooper and asked if we could possibly do this job . Joe and I always like a challenge. So if the trooper will wait we'll take a look. We get there to find this tractor trailer in the ditch and can't move . He also tells me he is fully loaded. Thanks to NH DOT they salted and also left us a small pile of salt. We spread it near his tires , hooked up chains . Got in the little truck that can and gave the old girl some throttle . To my amazement she did the job and out he came on to the road . I did find that you get some higher trans temps when pushing it that hard . It took a few miles to get that temp back down to normal. I will never stop being amazed what that truck can do.

I got called out by State Police one evening for a car fully engulfed . When I arrived It was out . The trooper tells me who owned it . I looked at him and said I just towed his pickup to St . J for repairs in the morning. You have to keep in mind this is on a backroad in Bath . Its not somewhere I go all the time. Now twice in the same day . I will say I felt bad for the guy now down 2 vehicles . This was his fun car a hard top convertible Volvo . Talked to him the next day and he's already got his eye on a new one. Thanks to Bath Fire Dept for all their help at the scene .

So one of the ambulances was hit on the side. I believe it was down in Lebanon NH doing a transport. They called me to do the repairs and deal with the Ins co. In my 50 years in the business , I think this is like the 4th one I have fixed. This one was on the side as the pics show. To get to the damage Joe and I had to pull all of the interior cabinets ,front and side. To get to the screws that held them in we pulled out of the cab all of the radios, inverter and wiring out . Rug had to come out along with drivers seat. I can tell you this was a project that did not end . I would have to guess at around 3 to 4 days work just to get to the panel we were replacing. The new panel came in with a little damage I had to fix before installation . This is the way things seem to be since covid . Parts come from long distances and get damaged in transport . It is done and back in service. Thanks Warren Wentworth Ambulance for the business . When I needed you guys you were there for me ,which I can never repay. Thanks again

Sold the 1998 and bought this one, a 2011 GMC Denali HD. It had a little damage on the front end . I've had this truck almost a year and finally painted it last weekend. First pic is at auction yard .Sorry for the blurry photo it was one of theirs . I like the old truck colors so much I did them again. 1971 Chevy C10 . The previous owner had done some questionable wiring. My neighbor borrowed my jump box which had started a small issue . We looked at the truck the next day and found that the dash wiring and under hood harness had burnt. we decided to replace the complete harness from tail light to headlights and complete dash harness. A kit from American wire solved the problem . The kit is an upgrade from glass fuses to ATM mini fuses and is set up for modern engine control systems and electric fans . We also while having the truck, upgraded to all stainless steel brake lines. He is going to have us keep picking at this truck little by little. We still wanted to know what caused the wiring to burn in the first place . If joe and I had not seen this first hand we would not have believed it . Someone had wired the brake light switch that turns on the dash light to a hot wire That wire should have made ground. So when the fluid went low it sent power straight to ground causing the wire fire . When he is done this will be a really nice truck.
