It’s always a good idea to recce a trail if you haven’t been on it in a while, especially if you’re taking a large group of customers out for Owner’s Day.
We came across this downed tree on the side of Old Coast Rd. Technically vehicles could pass by, but being good stewards of the trail we wanted to clear it out of the way for safety.

Got to do a training session for the team before they head out to Asheville, NC for the 2021 TReK Challenge. We covered hand signals, spotting, winching (electric and HiLift), jacking, basic recovery and some driving techniques.
Last year they placed 3rd in their wave. Hoping for a first place finish to get into the finals!!!
It was fun getting to use their 2020 team vehicle from last year too!

And that’s a wrap for the 10 weeks, 22 dealerships, 400+ staff trained, 3905 miles, 2 states, and 3 new friends!

After the debacle the previous year, the event organizers took big steps to ensure it didn’t happen again. Dedicated marshals would spend their time on the event doing a recce and prepping the task sites for the Cameleers.
not only participated for the first time this year, but they went on to win the overall event. Jim Benson and Marc Day of Team UK won the . Marc Day would come back to the 🐪🏆 the following years to acting Lead Scout for the convoy.
