Helping to keep these guys here another two weeks(or at least the engine) so they don’t get “de-mobed” and have to go home. I want to express my gratitude to those who have helped with a late night call to other resources to try to locate parts at 10 o’clock at night.. I appreciate the help.

Thanks Wy'east Wildlands LLC for trusting me to come out a second time (hopefully the last for this fire) and work on this f-550. It was a little bit of a challenge trying to find a local parts store(10’ o clock at night)to carry a nut for the rear axle hub assembly, but finally had to reach out to the dealership in Pasco to get it. Thanks again😎

Shout out to Logan and Eddie at Napa, for opening their door at 10’ o’clock at night, so I could get my customer up and operational for next day inspections. Thanks guys, I appreciate you😎💪

I don’t know what’s worse, accidentally hitting your finger with a hammer? Or having a hot piece of welding slag magically find its way down the ear hole🥴🥴🤨

Got a call from a continuous client, and asked if I would have time to mentor their eldest son, replace blades and belt on a zero turn mower. He loves to tinker and has one of those mindsets(like me) who will go to lengths end to figure out how to fix something. Tear it down, figuring out how it operates and fix if broken. Unfortunately I was unable to make our schedules coincide with each other, so got to show his younger brother(Cutter) who is just as curious and intrigued by how things operate and function. So here’s to teaching the next generation, just like I was taught.

Well, today didn’t even slightly go as planned 😒
Went to go get fuel at Sinclair in Milton-Freewater and as I go to turn(thankfully not while turning off the highway) to get in a line, POP!! Steering on my service truck goes loose and no turney.. Just so happens that the ol’ man (Don Groat) was in line as well.. so I jump out and see what’s going on..
Needless to say the tie rod that connects from the pitman arm to the drag link snapped clean in two.. I will admit, that this was a pain in the rear to get off and took 3-4 hours to do.. all said and done, I didn’t get any actual side work done, but reassuring the ol man that the majority of self taught lessons came from him.. thanks dad for the assist today, I appreciate it.

NOTE TO SELF.. I need coveralls😬
