Since its inception in 1951, we have grown to become the largest ready-mix concrete supplier in New Jersey. Ten ready-mix plants service the areas of operation. Within 5 years, three new state-of-the-art concrete production facilities will have either replaced existing locations or opened in areas never before served by Ralph Clayton & Sons. These investments demonstrate the Company's dedication to its customers through increased service capabilities, to its employees with emphasis on quality and safety, and to the environment through energy-efficient manufacturing and production facilities. Ralph Clayton & Sons offers the full range of ready-mix products including high strength concrete, flowable fill, permeable and High Performance mixes. With a staff of ACI-certified technicians and highly-trained quality control personnel, all mixes are reviewed for accuracy and delivered in accordance with project specifications. BLOCK - The end of an era. For over 60 years, Clayton Block Co., Inc. supplied the construction industry with common masonry units manufactured to address all construction requirements. The variety of concrete masonry units manufactured were only surpassed by the quality sales and technical support of Clayton Block Co., Inc. Clayton Block Company sincerely thanks all of our customers for their purchases over the years and the Clayton Block Company employees for their dedicated work done. As of January, 2021 Clayton Companies will no longer produce block. SAND
Clayton Sand Company not only meets the needs of our ready mix concrete and concrete block plants, but it is also known within the construction industry as a reliable supplier of high-quality sand, gravel and specialty products throughout the Tri-State area. Our products meet ASTM, AASHTO, NJDOT, NYNJPA, NYSDOT, PENN DOT, and USGA standard specifications. Custom processing is available to meet specific project specifications. With three strategically-located sand pits in Central New Jersey- Jackson Township, Forked River, and Chatsworth - and the largest transportation fleet of tri-axle dump trucks in the area, Clayton Sand is able provide a quality product at minimal transportation costs. State-of-the-art dredging equipment and wash plants at all three locations allow Clayton Sand to mine materials throughout its vast acreage with ease and meet the needs of today's fast-paced and demanding construction industry.
