Another safe ungrounding! Those pesky sandbars are causing trouble with our lower-than-usual water levels! Soft ungroundings are our most expensive Non-member calls due to hourly Boat & Captain rates, plus the per-foot ungrounding fee. This is because the frequent need for extra crew, increased safety risks, and our own potential prop damage.

When Things Go Wrong, Call the Professionals. Four people were onboard when this boat capsized. Thankfully, a nearby boater got everyone safely back to shore. 🛟
Strong winds quickly carried the boat across the lake, where it was eventually found upside down, in the shallows and hung up in the sand.
The owner located it and called us in.
Captain Doug went to work—flipped it, dewatered it, and recovered it safely. 🚤
Boat recovery takes the right equipment, experience, and technique to avoid creating more damage or putting people—or another boat—at risk.

🚤 That’s a wrap on our first season on LEECH LAKE! 🍂

It’s been our privilege to be there when boaters needed a helping hand, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to serve this incredible boating community.

We’re heading into our off-season on Leech Lake, but we’ll be back and ready to go next spring! Our Lake of the Woods location is open and ready to assist 24/7 until early November. 🛟

We tow boats on the water...
but occassionally we have to trailer one of our big TowBoats to another lake for vessel recoveries... in which case we need a big truck to do so!

We love our Inverted Twin Trucks, almost as much as our TowBoats! Thanks Studio Wraps for doing such a great job on our trucks!
